A four-day international event on food and agricultural products was formally inaugurated at the city's International Convention City Bashundara (ICCB) on Thursday.
The expositions of the event are titled Food and Agro Bangladesh International Expo, 4th International Poultry and Livestock Bangladesh Expo, 4th Agro Chem Bangladesh, and Dhaka International Plastic, Packaging and Printing Expo.
CEMS Global - Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd. is organising the event.
The expositions earlier began on 27th and will continue until March 30. Beverage products, agricultural machinery, equipment, chemical, packaging and processing.
Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque, Chairman, Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA), was present at the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest.
Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, (Additional Secretary), Director General, Rural Development Academy (RDA) Bogra, and Mr. Imran Ahmed, Vice President, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), along with Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director, CEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific, spoke at the event as special guests.
The exhibitions will showcase the rapid developments in the industry as well as new technology components. There are also conducts conferences and seminar programmes on the sidelines of the event, adding more light to the industry.
