Five international flights failed to meet their arrival schedules at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) on Sunday.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, BG 044 from Kuwait was scheduled to arrive at the airport at 9:35am, but it reached at 12:51pm, making three hours and 16 minutes late, said sources at Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
BG 148 from Dubai also made one hour and 48 minutes delay, the sources added.
The CAAB sources further said 5 flights could not maintain their arrival schedules due to the incessant rain.
No other international flight, however, witnessed any schedule disruption until 1:00pm on the day.
