Five companies get permission to export wet blue leather

The government has allowed five companies to export 10 million square feet of wet blue leather to ensure fair prices of leather during Eid-ul-Azha.

Recently, the commerce ministry issued orders in this regard, setting some conditions to this effect.

As per the orders, each company will export 2.0 million square feet of wet blue leather within June 30 next year.

The permission was given to the companies between June 17 and June 30, 2021.
