The 'First National Industrial Fair-2019' will start on Sunday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city.
Industries Ministry has organised the event aimed at promoting local industrial entrepreneurs' products and attracting foreign investment. The event will continue until April 6.
This will help Bangladesh woo foreign investors, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun told the media at his office on Saturday.
He said his ministry is organising the fair to build a good relationship with all SME entrepreneurs.
Three hundred organisations will participate in the fair to showcase locally-made jute goods, food and agro products, leather items, electrical and electronics products, plastics and handicrafts.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the fair.
A seminar will be organised on the 'Fourth Industrial Revolution' at BICC. The fair will be open for all from 10:00am to 8:00pm, reports UNB.
