Information on bank accounts of the Evaly along with its chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) has been sought from all banks, officials said.
The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), the intelligence agency of the country's financial sector, issued a letter in this connection on Wednesday.
It asked the banks to provide the account details of Evaly Chairman Shamima Nasrin and CEO Mohammad Rassel within five working days.
Some customers recently lodged complaints at the Ministry of Commerce, alleging that the e-commerce platform did not deliver products despite taking payments in advance.
