A six-member business delegation team of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) left Dhaka on Tuesday for India to attend the 'Global Business Summit 2018'.
Sheikh Fazle Fahim, the senior vice president of the FBCCI, lead the team for the summit, which will to be held on February 23-24 in New Delhi.
Mr. Fahim will present a paper on 'Bangladesh: A Story of Transformations and Opportunities' at the world business summit.
The other members of the apex trade body are: Priti Chakraborty, Md. Rezaul Karim Reznu, Salah Uddin, Ali Ahmed, Khairul Huda Chopol and S.M. Jahangir Hossain, reports BSS.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit.
The theme for the 'Global Business Summit 2018' summit is 'New Economy, New Rules'.
The FBCCI leaders will meet the representatives from other participating countries and will extend efforts to develop bilateral trade.
World Trade Centre, Mumbai and All India Association of Industries are jointly organising the summit.
