FBCCI starts preparatory work for next budget

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has initiated a move to prepare proposals for the next national budget.

The apex trade body held a meeting on Wednesday on the upcoming budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2018-19 at its board room with its President Md. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin in chair.

The FBCCI will propose to the ministry of finance on import duty, income tax and VAT (value added tax) as per the opinions given by its member bodies.
