State-owned enterprises which contributed to the development of specific sectors will be awarded annually from now on.
Industries secretary Muhammad Abdullah said it on Sunday while unveiling the cover of the 2nd edition of National Productivity Organisation (NPO)'s 'National Productivity Message'.
He said that the awards would motivate everyone to increase industrial productivity and realise the government's Vision-2021 and 2041, as per UNB report.
He also said that to attain those objectives, productivity has to be increased in industries, services and agricultural sectors and the people concerned have to work together.
The secretary also said that service delivery from his ministry is quicker than before as electronic documentation has been introduced there.
