eGeneration successfully implements Microsoft solutions in 5 leading entities

 eGeneration, one of the leading IT consulting and software solutions companies in Bangladesh has recently celebrated their 5 successful major implementations of Microsoft solutions during the July- September quarter recently, said a statement.

 

The company which is the only Bangladesh Licensing Solutions Partner (LSP) of Microsoft has deployed Microsoft solutions in Bangladesh Army, Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd., Bank Asia Ltd., Anwar Group and bKash Limited in the quarter. 

 

Sook Hoon Cheah, President, South East Asia New Markets of Microsoft handed over crests to Brigadier General Iqbal Ahmed, Ndc, Afwc, psc, Bangladesh Army; AKM Shirin, Managing Director, Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd.; Hossain Khaled, Managing Director, Anwar Group of Industries; Mohammad Zia Mollah, Additional Managing Director, Bank Asia Ltd.; S M Saklanul Haque Rummon, Manager, Supply Chain and Procurement from bKash Limited to mark the celebration.

 

The company has implemented Microsoft solutions including messaging solutions, Office 365, Azure Hybrid and Cloud Solutions, System Center Products and Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics 365, PowerBI, SharePoint etc. in these entities.

 

The programme was jointly organized by eGeneration and Microsoft and Managing Directors, Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and Head of ITs from various sectors attended the event.

 

 The programme had a knowledge sharing session titled “Digital Transformation with Emerging Technologies”. Shameem Ahsan, Chairman of eGeneration chaired the session where Musfique Ahmed, Director of eGeneration presented a keynote. Syeda Kamrun Ahmed, Director, Strategy and Planning; SM Ashraful Islam, Executive Vice Chairman; Romi F Ahsan, Director, Developments and Emran Abdullah, Head of Business Development were present among, others from eGeneration Group. 

 

From Microsoft, Mohammad Arif Hossain, Partner Development Advisor and Corporate Account Lead Ziaul Hoque Mallick were present. Also present were Mr. Mohammad Shams-Ul Islam, Managing Director & CEO, Agrani Bank Ltd, Rahel Ahmed, Managing Director, Prime Bank Ltd and Kazi Sanaul Hoq, Managing Director, Investment Corporation of Bangladesh.

We are working closely with Microsoft and our other partners to help banks with fraud detection, reconciliation, reporting, management, clearing, settlement, product development etc.  We hope to accelerate the digital transformation across Bangladesh.”

 

According to latest figures released by Microsoft and IDC Asia/Pacific, organizations that have embraced digital transformation saw substantial impact to their business performance last year. In 2017, organizations that fully embraced digital transformation achieved 13 per cent to 20 per cent improvements in profit margins, productivity, customer advocacy, customer acquisition rates, and revenue from new products and services.

 

 In addition, businesses expect to add 70 per cent more in customer acquisition rate by 2020, underscoring the beneficial outcomes that embracing digital transformation brings to the table.

 

eGeneration is on the forefront of achieving the same for Bangladesh.
