eGeneration Limited held its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the capital recently.
The board of directors, shareholders, and notable institutional investors of the leading software company attended the meeting.
Adoption of annual accounts, the impending Initial Public Offering (IPO), and many important discussions took place at the annual general meeting, says a media release.
The AGM also provided a review of the company’s activities, business verticals and partnerships in 2018, plan about the HR and workplace, and financial updates.
In the meeting, they also arranged an open forum discussion on future plans and initiatives of the company, says the release.
“eGeneration was able to show amazing strides as we recorded a revenue that is up 28 per cent from last year and on boarded large scale conglomerates and BFSIs along with Government projects,” Shameem Ahsan, managing director of the eGeneration, said.
Mr Ahsan said, “eGeneration has become the first software company in Bangladesh to have filed for IPO.”
“We take this with pride as we share this with our valued stakeholders and investors. This is a sign of eGeneration’s commitment to creating greater stakeholder value for the long-term,” he added.
SM Ahsraful Islam, director of the company, presented the activity report of the year 2017-18, while Director Syeda Kamrun Ahmed presented the strategies, planning and process of the company.
Among the board of directors, and independent directors, Ariful Hasan (Independent Director), and Barrister Hamidul Mishbah (Independent Director) were also present at the AGM.
