The Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) and Vroom Services Limited have introduced Diners Club International Auto Credit Card and Diners Club International Fuel Card for Drivers for vehicle owners in Bangladesh.
A ceremony was held at a hotel in Dhaka recently marking the launching, said a press release.
EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar, Vroom Services Limited Chairman Muhammad Ziaul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director Habibur Rahman, Diners Club International Director (South Asia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia) Subhrajit Basu.
The co-branded credit card is only available to vehicle owners who are Vroom Service members.
There is no annual fee for the card and it has exciting and unique features.
EBL will provide cardholders with 0 per cent EMI facility at all workshops. Card members may also get home service for vehicle management, emergency roadside assistance and many other benefits.
Vroom is also going to offer App based Shop and Insurance purchase facility for the cardholders. Primary Card members can issue Driver’s photo printed supplementary Credit Cards for their drivers. These fuel cards may be used at partner fuel stations across the country.
Cardholders having all other prevailing EBL Diners Club Credit Card features will also be applicable for this Co-Branded Credit Cards.
This includes access to over 800 airport lounges worldwide and the ability to use your card at over 27 million merchant locations in 185 countries and territories where Diners Club International is accepted.
EBL Managing Director and CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar said this partnership is the first ever of its kind in the country. He expressed his hope to get success.
Vroom Services Limited Chairman Muhammad Ziaul Islam Chowdhury said Vroom Members can now vehicle related solutions and maintenance at workshops and fuel stations.
EBL Head of Retail Business M Khorshed Anowar, Head of Cards Rasel Hasan were present among others on the occasion.
