Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has recently signed an agreement with the transportation technology company ‘Pathao’ in Dhaka.
M Khorshed Anowar, head of business (retail banking) of the EBL and Hussain M Elius, chief executive officer of Pathao, signed the deal on behalf of their respective sides.
Under the agreement, EBL cardholder will get 40 per cent discount during the first use of the Pathao app, 25 per cent discount on three bike rides and 25 per cent discount on three car rides every week.
Md Bin Mazid Khan, head of agent banking of the EBL, M Riyadh Ferdous, head of retail propositions of the bank, and Kishwar Ahmed Hashemee, vice president of Pathao were present among others on the occasion.
