The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has fixed the prices of beef at Tk 525 per kg after a discussion with traders.
DSCC mayor Sayeed Khokon disclosed the decision after a meeting with meat traders at Nagarbhaban in the city on Monday, report UNB and bdnews24.com.
The mayor said the newly-fixed prices would remain in effect until 27th Ramadan.
As per the decision, the beef price is Tk 75 higher respectively than the last year's price.
The DSCC authorities fixed the price of Indian beef at Tk 500, buffalo meat at Tk 480, goat meat at Tk 750 and sheep meat at Tk 650 per kg.
