The Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) will celebrate its 24th founding anniversary soon, aiming to strengthen bilateral trade and draw more investment from Europe to Bangladesh.
This was discussed at the 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the DBCCI, held at a city hotel on Sunday evening.
As part of celebrating the anniversary, the trade body, with the support of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), will also organise a visit to the Netherlands to promote the country as an investment destination.
The AGM formally re-elected Md. Anwar Shawkat Afser as the DBCCI President.
DBCCI members from the audience shared their opinions and gave valuable suggestions for the development of the Chamber.
The DBCCI's new office bearers, including Senior Vice President Md. Atiqul Haque, Vice President Shakawat Hossain Mamun, Vice President Md. Shahid Alam, Secretary General Ataus Sopan Malik, Joint Secretary General Muhammad Risalat Siddique, and Director Finance Noafel Bin Reza, were present at the AGM.
The board of directors Alhaj Dr. Ahmd Robin Ispahani, Md. Nazmul Haque, Md. Shah Alam, Mir Muhammad Nasir, M Rabiul Hossain, Md. Sayem Faroky, Mazharul Haque Chowdhury, Md. Harn-ur-Rashid and other members of the DBCCI attended the meeting.
