A leading e-commerce company of the country, Daraz is bringing 11.11, the 'World's Biggest Sale Day', to Bangladesh for the first time.

During this mega event, since the launch of the new Daraz App, customers can expect a truly-personalised and supercharged lineup of activities, says a statement.

Daraz 11.11 is an event, the first of its kind, and is set to revolutionise regional ecommerce.

11.11 started in 2009, when Alibaba, Daraz's parent-company, positioned it as Asia's answer to Black Friday. A decade later 11.11 sale is ready to make the journey to Bangladesh. This campaign is the world's largest online shopping festival, which is 18 times bigger than Amazon Prime Day and 2.5 times bigger than Black Friday.

During this one-day campaign, products will be available at up to 83 per cent discount on Daraz. Special attractions for this campaign are - exclusive 11-taka deal, mystery box, double taka voucher, flash sale, brand vouchers, bank discounts, and many more.

Syed Mostahidal Hoq, Managing Director of Daraz Bangladesh, shared his thoughts on the upcoming flagship sale, "Once you experience what the Daraz App has in store for you during 11.11, you'll be able to draw a line in the sand and say: that was Daraz before 11.11; this is Daraz after 11.11. It will mark a paradigm shift. 11.11 is about more than just deals and discounts - it will bring our entire digital ecosystem into play: a combo of artificial intelligence -- assisted personalisation, entertainment, massive deals, secure payment solutions, and an assortment of more than 4 lac 400,000 products".

Launched in 2012, Daraz is South Asia's online shopping and selling destination of choice - present in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Nepal. Supported by a wide range of tailored marketing, data, and service solutions, the pioneering ecommerce ecosystem in South Asia has 30,000 sellers and 500 brands, serving 5.0 million consumers.
