Online marketplace Daraz has recently recruited three differently-abled persons in a bid to inspire the inclusion of these people into mainstream society, according to a statement.
People who are physically challenged; have long been excluded from mainstream society and so, there was little scope for them to earn their bread and butter respectfully.
Of late, different organisations are taking different initiatives with a view to creating employment opportunities for these people who have some physical disability but do not lack the prerequisite ability and quality to earn their living.
Daraz Bangladesh has collaborated with Adamya Foundation that has been deliberately working to bring about a positive change in society by uplifting an underprivileged group and to include them into the mainstream by providing necessary training to the differently-abled people since 2013.
Under the collaboration, Daraz has roped in three persons who have all the acumen and caliber necessary to work in a competitive office defying their physical Challenges.
These three persons have joined Daraz as quality control officers under Operations department.
Daraz hopes to continue humanitarian works and play its bit for the development of society by providing an opportunity to the differently-abled people under different collaborations in the days to come, adds the release.
