Ministry of Commerce on Monday urged the country's trade bodies to ensure use of face masks to stem the second wave of Covid-19.
Citing a circular of the Directorate General of Health Services, the ministry in a statement said relaxation and negligence are noticed in the use of masks in many cases.
Instructions in this regard have also been issued by the Cabinet Division, it further said.
To prevent the spread of Covid-19, the commerce ministry has asked all trade organisations / institutions and all its affiliated associations, district and upazila chambers / joint chambers of commerce and industries, associations, foundations to ensure wearing masks for their employees and members.
Earlier on November 01, 2020, the ministry also issued instructions to the concerned institutions .
