According to a press release, the bank’s digital banking services City Touch, ‘Ekhoni instant account opening’ app, smart IVR call centre, WhatsApp Banking etc helped it to gain the global attention.
These services bring together all the conveniences of branch banking to the screen of internet-enabled devices.
Regarding the achievement, City Bank Chairman Aziz Al Kaiser said that the recognition from global institutions like AsiaMoney will inspire them to bring more significant digital banking services in the country in future.
