The City Bank, in collaboration with North South University and International Financial Corporation’s advisory services, has introduced a certification programme exclusively for women.
An agreement in this regard was recently signed by Mashrur Arefin, MD & CEO of City Bank and Professor Atique Islam, Vice-Chancellor of North South University, in presence of M A Hashem, Chairman, Board of Trustees of the university, said a media release received today (Thursday).
The programme, aimed at enhancing the financial literacy of women in Bangladesh, will be conducted quarterly at North South University for women from all segments—entrepreneurs, businesswomen, professionals, salaried employees and housewives as well.
The 10-week long certification programme, first of its kind in the industry, already commenced classes earlier this month.
