City Bank on Thursday disclosed its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2020 through an event on a digital platform.
Existing and potential investors, researchers and analysts and other individuals involved in the capital market joined the event, said a press release.
Consolidated Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the bank was recorded at Tk 4.29 for January to December 2020 against Tk 2.59 during the same period of the previous year, the meeting revealed.
The bank’s Consolidated After-Tax Profit was Tk 4.36 billion in 2020 against Tk 2.63 billion the year before.
Md Mahbubur Rahman, deputy managing director and chief financial officer of City Bank, started the event with a presentation on the bank’s recent financial performance.
After this, the managing director and chief executive officer of City Bank Mashrur Arefin briefly discussed the bank’s current strategic position, following which a Q&A session took place where participants shared their views and opinions.
Through expansion, City Bank attracted greater attention from investment communities in recent years across the world.
