Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking Asia Pacific Gerald Keefe recently visited Bangladesh, said a statement.
During the visit, Gerald met key clients of the bank and reviewed Citi's potential for further growth in Bangladesh.
Citi, which does business in over 160 countries, has a strong presence in the country. Citi is also an active bank across the Belt and Road Initiative, banking clients in 58 markets across the Belt and Road, more than any other bank.
Gerald said “With the largest network of any global bank Citi has the local expertise and global relationships to help Bangladesh companies explore opportunities along the Belt and Road network. The country is one of our fastest growing markets in Asia and we are confident to further support economic progress and growth by connecting Bangladesh and its leading companies across our network.”
Gerald Keefe has held a wide range of senior roles across Citi’s institutional businesses and assumed the role of Head of Asia Pacific Corporate Banking on June 1, 2016.
