CCCI inks MoU with IIMK and BCI for sharing knowledge

The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) and Bangladesh Centre of Excellence (BCI) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for sharing knowledge.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at CCCI's World Trade Centre (WTC) hall room on Wednesday.

On behalf of the CCCI and BCI, President of CCCI Mahbubul Alam and Director of IIMK Professor Devashish Chatarjee signed the MoU joining the function virtually.

Assistant High Commissioner of India Dr Rajib Ranjan addressed the function as a special guest while Vice President of CCCI Syed Mohammed Tanvir, Dean of Executive Education of IIMK Prof Sri Dhar and Chairperson of IIMK's MDP Prof Surya Prokash Pati were present at the signing ceremony.

Dr Rajib Ranjan said, "The friendship between India and Bangladesh is a historic one. India has been a good friend of Bangladesh since the Liberation War in 1971. The sharing of knowledge is very inspiring for the stakeholders in both countries."

CCCI President Mahbubul Alam said increased cooperation between trade-related organisations of India and Bangladesh will help businessmen boost exports and imports.
