A remembrance meeting and doa mahfil was held at FBCCI Conference Center on Thursday remembering Annisul Huq, Mayor of Dhaka City Corporation (North) and former president of FBCCI.
FBCCI president Md. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, Senior Vice President Sheikh Fazle Fahim, former presidents Mahbubur Rahman, Mir Nasir Hossain, A.K Azad, Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed and family members of Annisul Huq attended.
Business leaders at the programme offered munajat seeking salvation of the departed soul of Annisul Huq. They highlighted the great contribution and success of him as the City Mayor.
He served as the president of FBCCI during 2008-2010. He was also the President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in 2010-2012.
