Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a foreign organisation to alleviate the ease of doing business in Bangladesh.
BUILD Chairman Nihad Kabir and Kirk Hope, Chief Executive Officer of BusinessNZ, the foreign organisation, signed the MOU, with the assistance of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under this MOU, BusinessNZ and BUILD will prepare the stage for productive public private dialogue and meaningful dialogues to share and raise voice of the private sector to the concerned for ease of doing business and eventually improve ranking of Bangladesh in this respect, says a UNB report.
This link opens up new doors for identifying regulatory barriers to private sector investment in the country and striving to eliminate such barriers finding out simplified and transparent business processes and practices.
BusinessNZ will provide inputs to Bangladesh government and private sector through BUILD in regard to steps for automation, trade facilitation, alignment with SDG goals and required regulatory reform needed for this purpose that can contribute to Doing Business Ranking of Bangladesh.
