The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is planning to hold a virtual public hearing to listen to people's complaints on the quality of services of its licensees.
According to the BTRC, the virtual public hearing will be held next month (February). The commission is now working on its preparation.
The BTRC decided to host the event to learn directly from the users about the quality of telecom services and their perception about the regulator.
Subrata Roy Maitra, the BTRC vice chairman, said they are planning to hold the online public hearing, as large gathering is not possible now due to the ongoing pandemic.
"The Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology has asked us to hold the online public hearing to listen to complaints," he added.
