Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) on Monday fined two petrol pumps Tk 100,000 in the capital’s Mohakhali area for measurement manipulation of different types of fuel.
A mobile court led by the BSTI Executive Magistrate Muhammad Amimul Ehsan conducted the drive.
The petrol pumps are M/S Toshofa Enterprise and M/S Royal Filling Station.
The pumps were engaged in depriving the clients of petrol, diesel and octane.
BSTI Assistant Director Mofiz Uddin Ahmed and Inspector Md. Bilal Hossain were present during the drive.
