Brothers Furniture has launched a mobile phone-based application service, ‘Brothers App’ for its customers, the first of its kind in the country’s furniture sector.
The app launching ceremony of the 38 year old local furniture company was held today (Saturday) at a hotel in the capital.
Subhashish Bose, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce inaugurated the app service.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Mr Bose highlighted some government initiatives, including cash incentive, to promote the sector in the country.
He appreciated the new app based service saying that it will make the customers’ furniture buying experience convenient as well as hassle free and digitalise the business.
Brothers Furniture Chairman Habibur Rahman Sarkar, Managing Director Ilias Sarkar and Director Sharifuzzaman Sarkar addressed the app launching ceremony as special guests.
The mobile phone app has some features including augmented reality, virtual reality, 3D view, and furniture customisation option. Besides, there are some other features like product details and a 3600 experience of a showroom.
