BRAC Bank, Bangladesh Tea Board ink deal

Bangladesh Tea Board (BTB) and BRAC Bank Limited signed an agreement for payment of Tea Licensing Fee through Online Payment Gateway.

Under this agreement, the customers of BRAC Bank will be able to pay Retail-wholesale tea business license application, Bidder License application, Blender license application, Broker license application, Registering tea sales directly from the garden, Register for tea export and Registration for tea import using their Visa / Mastercard Credit / Debit card.

Mr. Nazmur Rahim, Head of Retail Banking, BRAC Bank, and Mr. Mohammad Nurullah Noori, Secretary, Bangladesh Tea Board, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization in the presence of Major General Md Jahangir Al Mustahidur Rahman, PSC. Chairman, Bangladesh Tea Board recently at Bangladesh Tea Board office in Nasirabad, Chattogram.

Mr. Siraj Siddiquey (Shakil), Head of Digital Banking & E-commerce, BRAC Bank, and Mr. Md. Madhul Kabir Chowdhury, Deputy Director (Trade), Mr. Abul Bashar Siddiquei, Chief Accounts Officer, Mr. Md. Rajibul Hassan, Public Relations & Labor Welfare Officer, Mr. Ahsan Habib, Marketing Officer, Bangladesh Tea Board, were present on the occasion.

In order to facilitate the service process, Bangladesh Tea Board introduced online tea licensing system for its customers on September 16, 2018. With that the customers can easily pay the fees to the Tea Board’s bank account directly through mobile banking.
