bKash Limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country, recently signed an agreement with Capacity Development Services Limited(CDSL), a bill payment solutions provider to facilitate bKash customers pay various types of bills, including monthly subscription fees for internet and cable TV, fees for various government and non-government organizations and utility bill payment (electricity, gas, water), said a statement.
Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer, bKash Limited and Md. Zahidur Rahman, Chief Technology Officer of CDSL signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at bKash headquarters in the city.
Senior officials of the both organisations were present during the signing ceremony.
Launched in 2011, bKash, a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US-based Money in Motion, International Finance Corporation of World Bank Group and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, offers complete mobile financial services to the common people of Bangladesh.
