The German compressor giant BITZER, in collaboration with Aziz Trade and Engineering Limited (ATEL), has opened its official service centre at Bijoy Shoroni Circle in Dhaka.
The service centre, titled ‘Green Point’, is the global service network of the BITZER which offers state-of-the-art compressor care and servicing, says a media release.
The service centre has similar facilities in the USA, EU, Australia, Japan and other major locations in Asia Pacific. Dhaka is the latest addition of the global Green Point network.
The company organised an inauguration programme at the service centre recently, said the release.
Marco Candotti, Managing Director of Green Point Asia Pacific, was present at the function. “It is another milestone of BITZER to ensure services to the end users,” he said.
Among others, Sujoy Chatterjee, National Sales Director of the Bitzer India, Iqbal Mahmud, managing director of the ATEL, and Ali Ahmed Khan, director of the ATEL, spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, Iqbal Mahmud and Marco Candotti signed an agreement in Singapore in this regard last year.
