Biman Bangladesh Airlines has received a 'good response' in its move to induct two more aircraft.
Biman's Managing Director & CEO AM Mosaddique Ahmed said that eight companies from various countries responded to the tender for providing the aircraft.
But he declined to mention the names of the companies or their countries of origin.
Earlier, the national airliner decided to induct two aircraft for a short time on wet-lease basis.
Biman plans the move aiming to fill up the shortage after the early termination of the two aircraft taken from Egypt Air.
The Egypt Air's one aircraft will be grounded in January and the other will leave in March.
