The three-day National Bee Fair (Jatiya Mou Mela)- 2019 kicked off at Akm Giasuddin Milky Auditorium in the capital on Sunday.
Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak inaugurated the fair as the chief guest, organised by the ministry.
Director General of Department of Agricultural Extension Kbd. Mir Nurul Alam chaired the event, while Agriculture Secretary Md. Nasiruzzaman participated in the programme as the special guest.
A total of 61 stalls from 58 public and private organisations are showcasing different varieties of honey in the fair.
The fair will remain open for all from 9:00am to 9:00pm until March 12.
