Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) earned Tk 563.1 million as net profit after tax and disbursed Tk 4.08 billion in 2017.
At the same time, the bank recovered Tk 5.75 billion. The bank will pay Tk 100 million as dividend to the government.
" BDBL does have any provision or capital shortfall," a statement said.
The 210th board meeting of BDBL held recently approved the annual accounts of 2017.
Directors Shahabuddin Ahmed, Md. Ekhlasur Rahman, Mushtaque Ahmed, Md. Abu Hanif Khan, Dr. A.K. Ubaidur Rob, Syed Aftear Hussain Pear, Salma Nasreen ndc and Managing Director Manjur Ahmed were present.
