Bangladesh and the European Union (EU) will sign a bilateral financing agreement on the Human Capital Development Programme 2021 (HCDP-21) on Tuesday.
Head of Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh Ambassador Rensje Teerink and Secretary, Economic Relations Division (ERD) Monowar Ahmed will sign the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the NEC-II conference room of the ERD, said an official.
The overall amount of the programme is EUR 205 million, including EUR 150 million being allocated for primary education, EUR 50 million for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and EUR 5 million for complementary support for both the subsectors, UNB reported.
