The SME Foundation and the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) agreed on Monday to work together for the development of cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSMEs).
As part of the move, the SME Foundation and BCI will collaborate with each other for creating new entrepreneurs, skilled human resources and help ensure proper marketing of the CMSMEs products.
Besides, SME Foundation and BCI will also work together to facilitate loans to the entrepreneurs of the sector.
The development came while a delegation of BCI led by its President Anwar-Ul-Alam Chowdhury (Parvez) met with the Chairperson of SME Foundation Dr Md Masudur Rahman at the latter's office in the city.
BCI President Anwar-Ul-Alam Chowdhury (Parvez) said that they, with the cooperation of the SME Foundation, will soon provide training to the workers.
