The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI) and the Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday to promote mutual collaboration between them, says a press release.
As per the MoU, they will collaborate in different aspects to foster timely and action-oriented research, evidence-based policy advocacy, and awareness building to promote Bangladesh-China trade and economic cooperation, thereby boosting the development process in Bangladesh while benefiting the private sector.
Specifically, both the parties have agreed to collaborate on promotion of joint research, publication, hosting of seminar, conferences and symposiums on relevant contemporary issues.
Joint Secretary General of BCCCI Al Mamun Mridha and Executive Director of RAPID Dr Mohammed Abu Eusuf signed the MoU in presence of Dr Abdur Razzak, chairman of RAPID, at the BCCCI office.
Vice President Badrul Alam Khan, and directors Meherun Nessa Islam and Syed Aminul Kabir of BCCCI were present on the occasion.
