Bangladesh Bank (BB) Sunday asked the scheduled banks to take necessary steps for remaining open the branches in Chattogram Agrabad area round the clock every day of a week.
The branches, those are related with Chattogram port or customs, will remain open round the clock every day by ensuring enough security, reports BSS citing a BB press release.
Banks will take necessary steps in this regard by discussing the matter with Chattogram port or customs authorities, the circular added.
