Asia Retail Leaders Conference kicks off in Singapore

A two-day long Asia Retail Leaders Conference (ARLC) 2018 kicked off at Conrad Centennial Singapore on Thursday.

It aims to address challenges, unlock opportunities for growth and identify key value drivers for retailers to remain competitive in the face of disruption, according to a Media OutReach statement.

Singapore Management University (SMU) Retail Centre of Excellence (RCoE), has organised the event, themed ‘Leadership in Retail: Navigating Turbulent Waters’.

Mr Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Ministry of Education, is expected to grace the event as its guest-of-honour.

In celebration of RCoE’s one year anniversary, SMU Professor of Marketing, Kapil R. Tuli, who also heads RCoE as its Director, said they are pleased to organise this leadership conference.

He hopes it will help retailers to ride on the digital wave, as well as to encourage them to explore new and innovative practises in the industry.
