Ambulance registration in Dhaka has witnessed a slight rise in 2018 compared to that in 2017, according to the statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
The number of ambulance registered in 2018 was 456, which was 400 in 2017.
An estimated 358 such vehicles were registered in 2015 and 287 in 2016, the transport regulator added.
The BRTA data also showed that a total of 3,596 ambulances were registered until 2018.
