A total of 49 banks have signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to participate in export support pre-financing fund of Tk 100 billion to maintain the ongoing trend of development and expansion of export-oriented industries.
On this occasion, Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder handed over a copy of the agreement to Md Anwarul Islam, deputy managing director of Agrani Bank, after signing the agreement at Jahangir Alam Auditorium of Bangladesh Bank on January 30, said a press release.
Abu Farah Md Nasser, deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank, Rubana Parveen, general manager of Agrani Bank, and senior executives of other banks were present at the signing programme.
