Only 43 travellers from Bangladesh visited visa-free Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 islands in the India Ocean, in the first quarter of the current year.
In the past year, the number of visiting Bangladeshis stood at 181, which is 8.30 per cent higher than that in the previous year.
Official tourism statistics of the archipelago off East Africa also showed that 349,861 tourists from across the world visited it in the past year.
