3-day laptop fair begins Thursday

The 19th ‘Laptop Fair’ kicks off on Thursday. 

The three-day long fair will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.

Science and Technology Minister Yafes Osman is expected to inaugurate the event as the chief guest.

Journalist and dramatist Bipul Raihan, son of noted filmmaker late Zahir Raihan, and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) President Mustafa Jabbar will be present as special guests.

There will be 27 stalls, one mega pavilion and 14 mini pavilions at the fair.

Entry fee for the fair, which will remain open from 10am to 8pm, will be Tk 30. 

Students and people with disabilities will enjoy free access to the fair.

Event management company Expo Maker is organising the fair.
