About 20 international flights failed to meet their arrival schedules at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday.
A US-Bangla Airlines flight from Singapore was scheduled to arrive at the airport at 7:50am, but it reached there four and half hours late at 12:30pm, sources at Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) told the FE.
The international flights were late due to thick fog, sources added.
A flight from Malaysia was scheduled to arrive at the airport at 4:15am, but it reached at 12:00pm making a late of about 8 hours.
Another fight of Air Arabia Airlines from Dubai arrived at the airport at 10:00am, which was late for one hour.
Jet Airways from Kolkata also made two hours late, which landed at 10:45am.
