RAK Ceramics recommends 15pc cash dividend

The board of directors of RAK Ceramic Ltd has recommended 15 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2019, said an official disclosure on Wednesday.

The annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on March 31 at 10:00am. The venue will be notified later. The record date is February 25.

The company has also reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 1.76, consolidated NAV per share of Tk 17.18 and consolidated NOCFPS of Tk 3.70 for the year ended on December 31, 2019 as against Tk 2.08 (restated), Tk 17.97 and Tk 1.33 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration.

Each share of the company, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 2010, closed at Tk 30.80 on Tuesday.

The company also disbursed 10 per cent cash and 10 per cent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2018.

The company’s paid-up capital is Tk 4.27 billion and authorised capital is Tk6.0 billion while total number of securities is 427.96 million.

The sponsor-directors own 72.08 per cent stake in the company, while institutional investors own 15.62 per cent, foreign investors 0.04 per cent and the general public 12.26 per cent as of December 31, 2019, the DSE data showed.
