QIO proposal of Krishibid Seed approved

The securities regulator approved the proposal of qualified investor offer (QIO) of Krishibid Seed which will raise a capital worth Tk 116 million.

The approval came Monday at a meeting held at the office of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).

Krishibid Seed will utilise the fund, which will be raised issuing shares to qualified investors, for the purpose of establishing cold storage depot, storage building, seed research along with catering the expense of issue management.

According to the financial statement for the period July 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021, the company's EPS is Tk 0.60 and NAV (without revaluation) per share is Tk 12.60.

SBL Capital is working as issue manager of the Krishibid Seed.

At Monday's meeting, the securities regulator approved the draft prospectus of SAML Growth Fund, an open-end mutual fund.

The initial size of the fund is Tk 250 million. Of Tk 250 million, Tk 25 million will be contributed by Shahjalal Asset Management, sponsor of the fund.

The remaining fund worth Tk 225 million will be raised selling units of Tk 10 each to the investors.
