The Trustee Committee of Prime Finance First Mutual Fund has approved 8.50 per cent cash dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2018.
The record date for entitlement of dividend is February 24, said an official disclosure on Sunday.
The Fund has also reported earnings per unit (EPU) of Tk 0.97, net asset value (NAV) per unit of Tk 17.83 at cost price basis, NAV per unit of Tk 11.52 at market price basis and net operating cash flow per unit (NOCFPU) of minus Tk 0.02 for the year ended on December 31, 2018 as against Tk 1.17, Tk 17.61, Tk 13.28 and Tk 0.25 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the units of the Fund today (Sunday) following its corporate declaration.
Unit price of the mutual fund, which was listed on the DSE in 2009, closed at Tk 11.60 each on Thursday last.
Its authorised capital is Tk 200 million and the total number of securities is 20 million.
The sponsor-directors own 2.0 per cent stake in the mutual fund, while institutional investors own 28.26 per cent, foreign investors 0.01 per cent and the general public 69.73 per cent as of December 31, 2018.
