CHATTOGRAM: Meghna Petroleum Ltd has approved 140 per cent cash dividend for the fiscal year (FY) 2017-18 at the company's 40th annual general meeting here on Saturday.
The company’s Chairman and Secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division (EMRD) Abu Hena Md. Rahmatul Muneem presided over the meeting.
The marketing company earned a profit after tax of Tk 3.6041 billion in the FY and the earnings per share (EPS) reached up to Tk 33.30.
The AGM was attended, among others, by Additional Secretary of Finance Division Tohmina Begum, Additional Secretary of EMRD Parveen Aktar and Managing Director of Meghna Petroleum Mir Saifullah-al-Khaled.
