Dhaka bourse started the Monday’s session with a marginal rise amid mixed performance of the major sectors.
The DSE broad index DSEX rose 0.19 per cent or 11.46 points to close at 5950.91 points at 11.39 am.
During the same time period, the shariah based index DSES advanced 0.73 per cent or 9.66 points to 1331.92 points.
The DS30 index comprising blue chip securities stood at 2052.22 points with a rise of 0.42 per cent or 8.70 points.
Of total issues are being traded, 154 advanced, 138 declined and 43 were unchanged.
The turnover stood at above Tk 3.65 billion on the premier bourse at 11.40 am.
Eastland Insurance Company was on top of turnover chart with a value of Tk 293 million followed by Grameenphone, Asia Insurance, United Power Generation and Distribution Company, and Eastern Housing.
