The 24th annual general meeting (AGM) of Anlima Yarn Dyeing Limited was held on the factory premises at Karnapara in Savar recently, says a statement.
Chairperson of the company Hubbun Nahar Hoque presided over the meeting while Managing Director Mahmudul Hoque briefed the shareholders on the company's performance in fiscal year 2018-19.
The chairman said the company received less export orders due to the global economic slowdown. As such, in view of the poor financial performance, the management declared 5.0 per cent cash dividend.
The shareholders appreciated the efforts of the management and thanked them for rendering their valuable services.
The meeting approved the cash dividend, the annual accounts and the Directors' report. It also appointed an auditor for the year 2019-20.
