17 companies declare earnings per share

Dhaka Stock Exchange today published the EPS of 17 companies. The following table shows the current situation of EPS compared to the last year.

ICB, IFADAUTOS, NPOLYMAR, APOLOISPAT, BSCCL, and ENVOYTEX showed significant and noticeable changes in their EPS among the above-listed companies.

APOLOISPAT's EPS fell by 89.4 per cent, and this was due to a massive fall in net profit after tax (approximately 87.78 per cent).

ICB and NPLOYMAR experienced a whopping increase of 96 per cent and 89.4 per cent respectively in their EPS, reflecting a better performance in the recent fiscal year.

One of the primary reasons for the 144 per cent increase in EPS of IFADAUTOS is that the sales revenue almost doubled from Tk 1,817 million to 3,545 million.

Similar to the others, ENVOYTEX's increase in their EPS (53.1 per cent) also resulted from their increase in sales revenue, which was about 50 per cent.

Additionally, this increase in sales had minimal impact on the selling and distribution expenses. The other costs also didn't experience any significant change.
